Forced Air
Indirect-fired heat is based on the same principle as your home furnace. The burning of natural gas or propane produces a flame that heats an internal chamber within the unit heater. A fan forces air over the extremely hot chamber and the heated air is then transferred into the surrounding area. These heaters are vented which means that no exhaust gases from the burning of the propane or natural gas enter the heated space.
We at Mid-Valley Radiants and Industrials, Inc., use this type of heat when heating areas that have low or obstructed ceilings since our infra-red heaters have minimum height requirements. Our line of Sterling indirect-fired unit heaters is constructed of high quality materials using the latest in manufacturing techniques. Sterling unit heaters offer a very cost-effective method of heating large areas with low ceiling heights.
